Park Jae-sang (born December 31, 1977), : 박재상, hanja: 朴載相, better known by his stage name Psy (Korean: 싸이. PSY, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, record producer and rapper. Psy is known domestically for his humorous videos and stage performances, and internationally for his hit single Gangnam Style .

News of singer PSY’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world. However the May 2015 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Thankfully, the singer best known for his hit songGangnam Style is alive and well.
