Marty Remembers Buffy The Vampire Slayer...
Back in the day the show would run just before Xena Warrior Princess on a Friday night. So it was Buffy and Xena and then some serious nightclubbing.
Around the third or fourth series of Buffy at the end of the show the same Perverted TVNZ announcer would come on air and say hello, and a few words . You could just hear in the tone of his voice that his thoughts were perverted, and it was very disturbing to listen to, to say the least. This happened every week and left me with an awful sick feeling inside.
Something very strange about the show. At the start of many episodes Buffy would kill a vampire in the first 7 or so minutes. Then kill the SAME vampire the next week at about the same time from the start , 5 - 10 minutes .
One of the Producers liked to talk about how the show was all about empowering women, well it was certainly about something...

In 2013 she was cast as Sydney Roberts on the situation comedy series entitled The Crazy Ones, where she worked with the late and great Robin Williams. Unfortunately the show was cancelled after one season.
The Buffy The Vampire slayer star gave a heart-warming statement to People: ‘My life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams.
‘To my children he was Uncle Robin, to everyone he worked with, he was the best boss anyone had ever known, and to me he was not just an inspiration but he was the Father I had always dreamed of having.
‘There are not enough adjectives to describe the light he was, to anyone that ever had the pleasure to meet him.
‘I will miss him everyday, but I know the memory of him will live on. And to his family, I thank them for letting us know him and seeing the joy they brought him. Us crazy ones love you.’
